Chief Executive Officer
Chris Faulkner, Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer Breitling Oil and Gas, is the driving force behind the independent company’s extraordinary growth, technology innovations and strategic approach to oil and gas exploration and production.
Mr. Faulkner was named Industry Leader of the Year in 2013 by the Oil & Gas Awards for the Southwest Region and recognized in the “Who’s Who in Energy Dallas 100” in 2012 and 2013. Breitling was awarded in 2013 by the Oil & Gas Awards for Exploration and Production, and named “Best North American Operator” by World Finance Magazine in 2011 and 2012.
A knowledgeable and dynamic speaker whose oil and gas industry expertise is well regarded and sought after, Mr. Faulkner has been featured in hundreds of broadcast and print news outlets, including CNBC, FOX Business News, NBC News, and the Voice of America, as well as Forbes, US News & World Report, Bloomberg Businessweek, Inside Market Data, Oil and Gas Monitor, Petroleum Review, and Financial Times. He is a crowd favorite on the speaking circuit, giving dozens of keynote and other presentations at industry conferences in the U.S. and around the globe, including The Unconventional Gas and The Environment Conference in London, Shale Gas World Asia in Singapore, World Congress of Petroleum Microbiology in China, Oil Council Energy Capital Assembly in New York, and EMEA Unconventional Gas Exploration and Production in Turkey.
Mr. Faulkner is responsible for the company’s long-range economic and energy outlooks in support of investor relations, short and long-term business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and the development and application of new and existing technology for optimizing recovery efficiency within Breitling’s conventional and unconventional resources. His diverse and extensive background in the oil and gas industry in North America, Europe and the Middle East covers all aspects of oil and gas operations.
Mr. Faulkner serves as an advisor to the ECF Asia Shale Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the North Texas Commission. He is also a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, the Dallas Petroleum Club, Independent Petroleum Association of America, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association. He is actively involved in local and national philanthropic and non-profit organizations, including Dallas Performing Arts, Texas CAN-DO, American Heart Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Mr. Faulkner studied biomedical engineering at Southern Methodist University, business and mathematics at Baylor University, and earned his Master of Information Science degree at the University of North Texas. He received an honorary doctorate degree for his achievements in business administration from Concordia College.
Chief Operating Officer
Parker Hallam, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. Parker began his oil and gas career as an Associate Vice President for a privately held oil and gas company, where he worked to improve communication avenues for new and existing partners. Parker has assisted his investors in placing projects throughout the United States. After starting Breitling, he refocused his efforts to provide added value to the holdings of existing and new partners. Parker has extensive experience in generating new business and maintaining client relationships. Parker’s oil and gas experience focuses on strategy, business development, corporate finance, as well as in energy portfolio management. His responsibilities with Breitling include developing and maintaining partner relationships, day-to-day operations and well site management. His career has given him a broad spectrum of financial and business experience in Exploration and Production, Offshore Gas Production, Oil Refining, LNG and Domestic Gas.
Chief Investment Officer
Michael Miller, co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Breitling Oil and Gas Corporation. Mr. Miller has been involved in the oil and gas industry heading up operations and placement since 1998. Overall Michael has 13+ years experience in the oil business, in geosciences, exploration, business development, operations and general management, working in hydrocarbon provinces from Europe to South America, SE Asia, Middle East and North America. His focus with Breitling is investor relations and drilling project management. As Breitling’s Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Miller is responsible for the identification, assessment and execution of investment opportunities. In his various management and business development roles, he has been responsible for key client management and the technical and financial management of a wide range of environmental consulting and engineering services in the private and public sectors.
